PhotoHot Stone Massage
Hot Stone Massage is a full-body massage done on bare skin with hot stones and oil.  It is composed of long, flowing, rhythmic strokes done with smooth, basalt river stones that radiate tension-relieving heat.
The heat from the stones penetrates the body, inducing a deeply relaxed state and an almost magical release of muscle tension.  The heated stones also draw toxins to the skin's surface, promoting a purification process.  The treatment is profoundly relaxing and balancing and the warm, even pressure of the stones feels amazing!
Hot Stone Massage promotes a harmonizing and cleansing effect and allows for a soothing, meditative state of quietude, calm and balance.  It also causes the release of larger than normal amounts of endorphins which are your body's own tranquilizing pain killer.  This will make you feel like you're floating on air without a care in the world!
Sports Massage
Sports Massage is for people who put large demands on their body.  Fitness enthusiasts, bodybuilders, golfers, tennis players, football players, softball players, runners, walkers, marathoners, weekend warriors and any physically active person can benefit greatly from Sports Massage.
Sessions can be tailored to the specific muscle groups used in a particular sport.
  • Promotes flexibility
  • Decreases exercise soreness
  • Speeds recovery time from workouts
  • Prepares the athlete for strenuous events
  • Reduces the risk of injury
  • Reduces swelling and speeds healing should an injury occur
  • Increases blood flow to the muscles, thereby encouraging greater strength and faster growth
  • Opens up lymphatic vessels which clean toxins, like lactic acid, out of the muscle faster.
  • Helps the athlete to achieve peak performance
Prenatal Massage
Pregnancy places great demands on a woman's body.  Aches and pains, morning sickness, swollen legs and ankles, sleeplessness, backaches, leg cramps, anxiety and even mild depression can be the result of these extra demands.
Prenatal Massage is designed to support the expectant mother by relieving these conditions and promoting a more balanced mental and emotional state.
Massage is performed in the first trimester only with written permission from the Doctor.  In the second and third trimester, massage is done in side lying position when it is no longer feasible for the client to lie face down.  High risk pregnancies require written clearance from the Doctor.
Reiki Energy Healing
Reiki is a form of subtle-energy healing administered through light touch.  It is based on ancient Tibetan principles and is intended as a complement to Western healing practices (NOT a replacement).
Reiki utilizes the innate healing energies of the body, mind and spirit to promote serene relaxation and to help the body heal itself.  It brings about a more balanced frame of mind and calms the emotions so that natural healing is encouraged.
Reiki is done fully clothed.
On-Site Seated Chair Massage
Done fully clothed in an ergonomically designed chair, this type of massage is great for relief of stress and tension and helps reduce aches and pains in the neck, shoulders, back, arms and hands.
Chair massage targets the most common areas of stress and tension and has been shown to promote relaxation, mental alertness, efficiency and productivity when done on a regular basis.
The best thing about it is that it can be done anywhere including places of work and is often used as a perk for a company's employees as part of a corporate wellness plan.
Reward your employees, treat your customers or liven up your next party.  I can go anywhere with this!
